VOLUNTEER INTERNSHIPS

Gain real nonprofit experience.

Sembrando Flores, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, offers structured volunteer internships for students and early-career professionals. Roles go well beyond health care: social media, marketing, design, data, grant research, finance, translation, events, and program support. Every role today is unpaid and volunteer; as funding grows, our goal is to add paid roles. What you build here is real: a named role, a supervisor, documented hours, and work you can show.

AGREEMENT

We do not sell or rent personal information. See our Privacy Policy.

What you receive

  • A defined role with a title and clear scope
  • An assigned supervisor and regular check-ins
  • Documented hours and contributions for your resume and applications
  • A service verification letter when you complete your commitment
  • Completed school paperwork when your program requires supervised hours or credit

How this works

  1. We review submissions on a rolling basis.
  2. If there is a fit, we set up a short conversation.
  3. Together we define your role, schedule, and goals.
  4. Your hours and contributions are documented from day one.

Openings depend on current projects. If there is no fit right now, we keep your submission on file and reach out when one opens.
